 A couple of weeks ago I shared some of my favourite products that will be retiring.  Its always hard to see them go.  This week I thought I would share another bundle that is going - I have to admit I have not used it in a while - Roots in Nature was a stamp set and dies that I used quite a bit when it was released.   Here are a few cards I made using the bundle. The stamp set is so versatile for a variety of different projects and cards. One thing I like about the stamps is the detail, check out the wooden stump image and leaves.   For this card I stamped the wood on Basic White and then fussy cut it out and layered on the card base. This card I fussy cut out the sentiment, this always adds a different twist to a card - I have been doing this quite a bit recently. What I like about this bundle is that you can use some of the metal dies to emboss cardstock.  You can see how I used them to emboss the stitched oval shape - btw, these are retiring too:( Product List Rooted In N

 Today I am sharing a few of my favourite Stampin' Up! products that are retiring - I am sad to see them go, but Stampin' Up! has to make room for new stuff which is exciting too. I have seen the new annual catalogue - one of the perks of being a Demonstrator! - and there are some amazing new products, you will get to see them in May!  But for now lets focus on what we are saying goodbye too. Pretty Perennials I am so sad to see this stamp set and coordinating dies retire.  I love the bundle - I think its one of my all time favourite Stampin' Up! sets. I used it for a class this past weekend and I will be incorporating some of the elements in another class coming up at the end of April. Many Mates I love how versatile this stamp set is with all the various sentiments and fonts.  I have used it many times on various projects - I will really miss the choice of sayings.  I am currently offering a Stampin' Blends Club and this past weekend we created this fun card using the Blends and Timeless Tropical stamp set and dies. We used Daffodil Delight and Poppy Parade Stampin Blends to colour in the beautiful hibiscus flower image.  I showed the crafters how to lift the colour from the flower stem to make it stand out - the colour lifter is like a magic wand as it lifts colour, blends colours and adds highlights.  The leaves are coloured with Granny Apple Green. Two other tips I shared with the crafters was how to colour ribbon with your blends and also rhinestones and other embellishments.  Now you will always have coordinating ribbon and bling for all your projects! I brushed both flowers with some Wink of Stella to add some sparkle, its hard to see it in the photo. The bright colours coordinate so well with the subtle Soft Seafoam cardbase - this is not a colour I use too much as I tend to go for bright colours.  But I love how the final card looks.

Dandy Gardens Suite has a variety of products including DSP, stamp set and punch.  I have not used it too much, so I decided to make a few projects with them.  Here is a fancy fold I made recently . . . I love blue tones, so this DSP really jumped out at me and with all Stampin' Up! DSP, it is doubled sided which makes it easy to create beautiful cards. This DSP comes in a 6"x6" pack.   I created a simple fancy fold card and added panels of the DSP to the front. I cut out two labels using des from the Tasteful Labels dies; one in basic white and the other in Calypso Coral.  The DSP has a sheet of paper that has these large Dragonfly's which coordinate with the punch - no need to stamp anything! I stamped the sentiment in Calypso Coral along with some tiny dragonflies. I punched out some extra tiny dragonflies in the coordinating DSP and and added them to the front panel. On the back side of the card I added a piece of basic white - I stamped a dragonfly image in calyp
