Introducing the new In-colours!!

If you are new to Stampin' Up! you may not know that this is an exciting time - the launch of the new Annual Catalogue - and with the launch comes new ink colours!!  Every year we get five new inks colours, these colours are only available for two years.  Here is my new catalogue - check out all the tabs where I have marked the products I have on my wish list:)  If you would like a catalogue, let me know and I will get one to you. The new in-colours are Polished Pink, Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen and Fresh Freesia. The In-colours are avilable in ink, cardstock, embellishments, ribbon and Designer Series Paper.  I made these cards to showcase the new colours along with the ribbon and embellishments. I used one of the new stamp sets to create the cards - Spiral Die - I love the bold pattern and the stamp is only $23 which is an amazing price point. Check out my online store on May 4 to get your hands on the new In-colours and all the other amazi...

Stampin' Blends

I am currently offering a Stampin' Blends Club and this past weekend we created this fun card using the Blends and Timeless Tropical stamp set and dies. We used Daffodil Delight and Poppy Parade Stampin Blends to colour in the beautiful hibiscus flower image.  I showed the crafters how to lift the colour from the flower stem to make it stand out - the colour lifter is like a magic wand as it lifts colour, blends colours and adds highlights.  The leaves are coloured with Granny Apple Green. Two other tips I shared with the crafters was how to colour ribbon with your blends and also rhinestones and other embellishments.  Now you will always have coordinating ribbon and bling for all your projects! I brushed both flowers with some Wink of Stella to add some sparkle, its hard to see it in the photo. The bright colours coordinate so well with the subtle Soft Seafoam cardbase - this is not a colour I use too much as I tend to go for bright colours.  But I love how th...

Day Three of Sale-a-bration

For day three of Sale-a-bration I am sharing a stamp set that I just love - the donkeys are so cute. The images are perfect for using the Stampin' Blends or you can just stamp the image and leave as is. I created two cards that I am sharing with you today. I paired both of them with the Ombre DSP - I love this paper. You can see in this photo how I have used the Stampin' Blends to add some definition to the darling donkey image. The blends are so easy to use and make your images pop. The other card I created, I added a fun element - a wobble - which allows your image move.  Unfortunately Stampin' Up! does not sell these but I think it works well on this card with the Ombre DSP and Darling Donkey stamp set. I tried to demonstrate how the wobble works - it allows the image move back and forth. I really like the final product, simple but fun. Remember you can get this the Darling Donkey stamp set for free by spending just $60 and if you spend $120 you could get the stamp set ...
