Introducing the new In-colours!!

 If you are new to Stampin' Up! you may not know that this is an exciting time - the launch of the new Annual Catalogue - and with the launch comes new ink colours!!  Every year we get five new inks colours, these colours are only available for two years.  Here is my new catalogue - check out all the tabs where I have marked the products I have on my wish list:)  If you would like a catalogue, let me know and I will get one to you. The new in-colours are Polished Pink, Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen and Fresh Freesia. The In-colours are avilable in ink, cardstock, embellishments, ribbon and Designer Series Paper.  I made these cards to showcase the new colours along with the ribbon and embellishments. I used one of the new stamp sets to create the cards - Spiral Die - I love the bold pattern and the stamp is only $23 which is an amazing price point. Goodbye!!

 Today I am sharing a few of my favourite Stampin' Up! products that are retiring - I am sad to see them go, but Stampin' Up! has to make room for new stuff which is exciting too. I have seen the new annual catalogue - one of the perks of being a Demonstrator! - and there are some amazing new products, you will get to see them in May!  But for now lets focus on what we are saying goodbye too. Pretty Perennials I am so sad to see this stamp set and coordinating dies retire.  I love the bundle - I think its one of my all time favourite Stampin' Up! sets. I used it for a class this past weekend and I will be incorporating some of the elements in another class coming up at the end of April. Many Mates I love how versatile this stamp set is with all the various sentiments and fonts.  I have used it many times on various projects - I will really miss the choice of sayings. Stampin' Blends

 I am currently offering a Stampin' Blends Club and this past weekend we created this fun card using the Blends and Timeless Tropical stamp set and dies. We used Daffodil Delight and Poppy Parade Stampin Blends to colour in the beautiful hibiscus flower image.  I showed the crafters how to lift the colour from the flower stem to make it stand out - the colour lifter is like a magic wand as it lifts colour, blends colours and adds highlights.  The leaves are coloured with Granny Apple Green. Two other tips I shared with the crafters was how to colour ribbon with your blends and also rhinestones and other embellishments.  Now you will always have coordinating ribbon and bling for all your projects! I brushed both flowers with some Wink of Stella to add some sparkle, its hard to see it in the photo. The bright colours coordinate so well with the subtle Soft Seafoam cardbase - this is not a colour I use too much as I tend to go for bright colours.  But I love how the final card looks.

Dragonfly Gardens

Dandy Gardens Suite has a variety of products including DSP, stamp set and punch.  I have not used it too much, so I decided to make a few projects with them.  Here is a fancy fold I made recently . . . I love blue tones, so this DSP really jumped out at me and with all Stampin' Up! DSP, it is doubled sided which makes it easy to create beautiful cards. This DSP comes in a 6"x6" pack.   I created a simple fancy fold card and added panels of the DSP to the front. I cut out two labels using des from the Tasteful Labels dies; one in basic white and the other in Calypso Coral.  The DSP has a sheet of paper that has these large Dragonfly's which coordinate with the punch - no need to stamp anything! I stamped the sentiment in Calypso Coral along with some tiny dragonflies. I punched out some extra tiny dragonflies in the coordinating DSP and and added them to the front panel. On the back side of the card I added a piece of basic white - I stamped a dragonfly image in calyp

Well Suited

   On Sunday I had my monthly team get together and this month I shared a sketch with the team to draw some inspiration. If you have never used a sketch, try it out, the sketch provides you with the card layout and you just decide on the stamp set, papers, and colours.  This is the sketch I shared with the team. I tend not to make masculine cards, so I have challenged myself to make more and I thought the sketch would be the perfect.  I used products from the Well Suited suite and used gray tones - colours that I don't always tend to use. The suite has lovely DSP, a variety of different colours and patterns.  The gray hues work so well together.  I used the Rectangle and Square Stitched dies to cut out some of the shapes. I love it.  There are two different stamps with different designs.  I stamped the image using Versamark ink and embossed with white embossing powder and then cut it out with one of the coordinating dies.
