Introducing the new In-colours!!

If you are new to Stampin' Up! you may not know that this is an exciting time - the launch of the new Annual Catalogue - and with the launch comes new ink colours!!  Every year we get five new inks colours, these colours are only available for two years.  Here is my new catalogue - check out all the tabs where I have marked the products I have on my wish list:)  If you would like a catalogue, let me know and I will get one to you. The new in-colours are Polished Pink, Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen and Fresh Freesia. The In-colours are avilable in ink, cardstock, embellishments, ribbon and Designer Series Paper.  I made these cards to showcase the new colours along with the ribbon and embellishments. I used one of the new stamp sets to create the cards - Spiral Die - I love the bold pattern and the stamp is only $23 which is an amazing price point. Check out my online store on May 4 to get your hands on the new In-colours and all the other amazing goodies in the ne

One more Darling Donkey!

I will be honest that I did not initially fall in love with the Darling Donkeys, but as soon as I started using the stamp set I could not stop! Todays project includes two FREE sale-a-bration items - Flowers & Fields DSP and of course the Darling Donkey stamp set. The Flowers and Fields DSP has some lovely patterns and of course they all coordinate with the fabulous Stampin' Up! inks and cardstock.  For this card I used Cherry Cobbler for the cardbase - I have not used this colour for a long time, it coordinates beautifully with this DSP pattern. I also did a simple fancy fold - cut 1.5" off the bottom of the cardbase and then another 2" strip which you can discard. The stitched oval holds the bottom piece in place. I stamped one of the donkey images using Memento ink and then used the Stampin' Blends to colour the donkey - for this one I used the crumb cake duo blends and real red.  To add some sparkle I brushed on some wink of stella on the donkey - which you ca

Day Three of Sale-a-bration

For day three of Sale-a-bration I am sharing a stamp set that I just love - the donkeys are so cute. The images are perfect for using the Stampin' Blends or you can just stamp the image and leave as is. I created two cards that I am sharing with you today. I paired both of them with the Ombre DSP - I love this paper. You can see in this photo how I have used the Stampin' Blends to add some definition to the darling donkey image. The blends are so easy to use and make your images pop. The other card I created, I added a fun element - a wobble - which allows your image move.  Unfortunately Stampin' Up! does not sell these but I think it works well on this card with the Ombre DSP and Darling Donkey stamp set. I tried to demonstrate how the wobble works - it allows the image move back and forth. I really like the final product, simple but fun. Remember you can get this the Darling Donkey stamp set for free by spending just $60 and if you spend $120 you could get the stamp set
