I want to share a notebook that I created for my customers who participated in a recent class I hosted. The class was using the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set and dies and I thought the notebook from Linda Powell would be the perfect thank you gift for my crafters. I started by covering the front of the notebook, which I bought from Amazon, with basic black cardstock. I stamped the large sunflower image in crushed curry ink on coordinating cardstock and cut out the top layer in daffodil delight. I have to say the new Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine makes it super easy to cut out the detailed dies from this set. The centre of the flowers are cut with crumb cake cardstock and I used a sponge dauber to add to some colour around the edge. I stamped the small flower in pumpkin pie ink on coordinating cardstock and the leaves are stamped in pear pizzazz ink and the top layer is old olive cardstock.
