If you are new to Stampin' Up! you may not know that this is an exciting time - the launch of the new Annual Catalogue - and with the launch comes new ink colours!! Every year we get five new inks colours, these colours are only available for two years. Here is my new catalogue - check out all the tabs where I have marked the products I have on my wish list:) If you would like a catalogue, let me know and I will get one to you. The new in-colours are Polished Pink, Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen and Fresh Freesia. The In-colours are avilable in ink, cardstock, embellishments, ribbon and Designer Series Paper. I made these cards to showcase the new colours along with the ribbon and embellishments. I used one of the new stamp sets to create the cards - Spiral Die - I love the bold pattern and the stamp is only $23 which is an amazing price point. Check out my online store on May 4 to get your hands on the new In-colours and all the other amazi...
I want to share a notebook that I created for my customers who participated in a recent class I hosted. The class was using the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set and dies and I thought the notebook from Linda Powell would be the perfect thank you gift for my crafters.
I started by covering the front of the notebook, which I bought from Amazon, with basic black cardstock. I stamped the large sunflower image in crushed curry ink on coordinating cardstock and cut out the top layer in daffodil delight. I have to say the new Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine makes it super easy to cut out the detailed dies from this set. The centre of the flowers are cut with crumb cake cardstock and I used a sponge dauber to add to some colour around the edge.I stamped the small flower in pumpkin pie ink on coordinating cardstock and the leaves are stamped in pear pizzazz ink and the top layer is old olive cardstock. I really like the flowering branches (not sure what to call them!) from this set, they are so versatile and I have used them in other projects, for this one I used old olive and soft suede cardstock.
To finish off, I used the playful alphabet dies to cut out the letters. To add some definition, I inked around the edges with a sponge dauber. The perfect thank you gift.
