The new Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine

Like many crafters one of my favourite tools is my die cutting machine - it takes your paper crafting projects to the next level by embossing and using dies to cut out images.  If you do not own one yet, you really must consider the investment, I have had mine for many years even when I was just a hobby crafter and I don't know what I would do without it.  And now is the perfect time to consider purchasing a machine as Stampin' Up! has just released their own!  Check out the video demonstrating the amazing features.

The Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine is available  from September 1st or if you want to get one now, you can purchase it as part of your Starter Kit and join my team - The Glitter Gals!  I got my machine a few weeks ago and used it in a class recently and fell in love with it.  I could not get over how smooth the machine works, for those of you who are familiar with other die cutting machines, you will know what I am talking about.

Here is a card I made using the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and the Forever Fern stamp set and dies . . .

If you are interested in purchasing the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine now as part of the Starter Kit, click here and join the Stampin' Up! family and my team The Glitter Gals!

Otherwise, came back in 5 days (Sept 1) and purchase it through my online store.  Anyone who orders the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine through my store will receive a special gift from me:)

Diamond Easel Card

I thoroughly enjoyed making this card for an extra special lady who is turning 80 soon - one of my regular crafters (she is not on social media so I know I am safe sharing it here!).  At a recent class she had loved the Forever Fern DSP and the colours we had used, so I knew this is what I had to use to make this card for her. The card is a diamond easel fold which is very easy to make, you do need 12"x12" cardstock as you need a 6"x12" piece of cardstock to make the cardbase. I had a pack of in-colour 12"x12" cardstock, so I used a piece of Just Jade as the base colour and then used Pretty Peacock for all the mats. I selected two different DSP designs from the Forever Greenery pack. I used the Forever Fern stamp set to create a bouquet of foliage using a variety of green tone inks - Pretty Peacock, Shaded Spruce and Just Jade. I added a large Just Jade leaf at the back of the bouquet to bring everything together, added champagne foil 80 and finished off

Dragonfly Gardens

Dandy Gardens Suite has a variety of products including DSP, stamp set and punch.  I have not used it too much, so I decided to make a few projects with them.  Here is a fancy fold I made recently . . . I love blue tones, so this DSP really jumped out at me and with all Stampin' Up! DSP, it is doubled sided which makes it easy to create beautiful cards. This DSP comes in a 6"x6" pack.   I created a simple fancy fold card and added panels of the DSP to the front. I cut out two labels using des from the Tasteful Labels dies; one in basic white and the other in Calypso Coral.  The DSP has a sheet of paper that has these large Dragonfly's which coordinate with the punch - no need to stamp anything! I stamped the sentiment in Calypso Coral along with some tiny dragonflies. I punched out some extra tiny dragonflies in the coordinating DSP and and added them to the front panel. On the back side of the card I added a piece of basic white - I stamped a dragonfly image in calyp
