Every year we get five new inks colours, these colours are only available for two years. As you can probably tell from my blog posts last week, I love the Ombre DSP that you can get for FREE when you spend $60 on Stampin' Up! products.
I saw a post recently from a fellow demonstrator - unfortunately cannot remember their, so my apologies I cannot give them credit - but I loved the cards they had made and knew I had to create some similar cards.
I used the plain side of the Ombre DSP - but there is nothing plain about this paper! I used the Dragonfly image from the Dragonfly Gardens stamp - there is a coordinating punch that makes it easy to punch out the dragonfly images. I didn't need to use the punch on this project as I stamped directly on the basic white square. I used Blackberry Bliss, Granny Apple Green, Rococo Rose and Bermuda Bay ink to stamp the images.
I used a different ribbon and various embellishments on each of the cards - matte black dots, pastel pearls and opal rounds - along with a simple sentiment from the Dragonfly Gardens stamp set, stamping it in the coordinating ink.
Once again, simple but beautiful cards.
