The new in-colours are Polished Pink, Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen and Fresh Freesia. The In-colours are avilable in ink, cardstock, embellishments, ribbon and Designer Series Paper.  I made these cards to showcase the new colours along with the ribbon and embellishments. Sweet Strawberry

Today I want to showcase a bundle from the new mini catalogue and some products from the Sale-a-bration that coordinates with the bundle.

The Sweet Strawberry bundle is from the new Mini Catalogue

The Coordinating DSP and Berry Blessings are from the Sale-a-bation catalogue and you can get them FREE when you spend $120.

Here is the card I made using Sweet Strawberry bundle and the coordinating DSP.  I used Poppy Parade for the cardbase layered with a piece of DSP and cut out a circle with a metal circle die.

I used Granny Apple Green and Poppy Parade for the circle and scalloped circle, I stamped the two strawberry images and cut them out using the coordinating punch.

I cut two strips and created a flag on each end, I stamped the sentiment in granny apple green and used a metal die from the tailored expressions dies to cut it out and ties a length of white twine and tied it in a bow.

I like the simplicity of the card and I love the bright colours - perfect to add a pop of colour during these winter months.

Check out this card I made using the stamp set from the Sale-a-bration stamp set and coordinating DSP.

Diamond Easel Card

I thoroughly enjoyed making this card for an extra special lady who is turning 80 soon - one of my regular crafters (she is not on social media so I know I am safe sharing it here!).  At a recent class she had loved the Forever Fern DSP and the colours we had used, so I knew this is what I had to use to make this card for her. The card is a diamond easel fold which is very easy to make, you do need 12"x12" cardstock as you need a 6"x12" piece of cardstock to make the cardbase. I had a pack of in-colour 12"x12" cardstock, so I used a piece of Just Jade as the base colour and then used Pretty Peacock for all the mats. I selected two different DSP designs from the Forever Greenery pack. I used the Forever Fern stamp set to create a bouquet of foliage using a variety of green tone inks - Pretty Peacock, Shaded Spruce and Just Jade. I added a large Just Jade leaf at the back of the bouquet to bring everything together, added champagne foil 80 and finished off ...

One more Darling Donkey!

I will be honest that I did not initially fall in love with the Darling Donkeys, but as soon as I started using the stamp set I could not stop! Todays project includes two FREE sale-a-bration items - Flowers & Fields DSP and of course the Darling Donkey stamp set. The Flowers and Fields DSP has some lovely patterns and of course they all coordinate with the fabulous Stampin' Up! inks and cardstock.  For this card I used Cherry Cobbler for the cardbase - I have not used this colour for a long time, it coordinates beautifully with this DSP pattern. I also did a simple fancy fold - cut 1.5" off the bottom of the cardbase and then another 2" strip which you can discard. The stitched oval holds the bottom piece in place. I stamped one of the donkey images using Memento ink and then used the Stampin' Blends to colour the donkey - for this one I used the crumb cake duo blends and real red.  To add some sparkle I brushed on some wink of stella on the donkey - which you ca...
