Introducing the new In-colours!!

If you are new to Stampin' Up! you may not know that this is an exciting time - the launch of the new Annual Catalogue - and with the launch comes new ink colours!!  Every year we get five new inks colours, these colours are only available for two years.  Here is my new catalogue - check out all the tabs where I have marked the products I have on my wish list:)  If you would like a catalogue, let me know and I will get one to you. The new in-colours are Polished Pink, Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen and Fresh Freesia. The In-colours are avilable in ink, cardstock, embellishments, ribbon and Designer Series Paper.  I made these cards to showcase the new colours along with the ribbon and embellishments. I used one of the new stamp sets to create the cards - Spiral Die - I love the bold pattern and the stamp is only $23 which is an amazing price point. Check out my online store on May 4 to get your hands on the new In-colours and all the other amazing goodies in the ne

Celebrate Sunflowers

I want to share one of my favourite suites from the annual catalogue - Celebrate Sunflowers.  I made this card that I think really showcases both the sunflower stamp and metal dies. I cut out multiple sunflowers in whisper white cardstock and adhere them to the card base - did you notice the different sized card? It is 7.5" x 7.5" and scored at 3.75", I will confess, I cut the wrong size but I actually like how it turned out! Adhering the die cuts can be time consuming - dabbing liquid glue all over the die cut.  I watched a video recently from another demonstrator - sorry can't recall who - where she used a silicone mat and sponge. You dab the liquid glue with the sponge on the the die cut, I did notice you have to wipe the silicone mat between each die cut or the silicone mat gets sticky.  You should try it out, I love how quick and easy it is. I then stamped the sunflower image using mango melody ink and used stampin' blends to colour in the i

Celebrating with other Leaders

I want to share the amazing family and community that Stampin' Up! is.  This past weekend I had the honor to participate in a Leaders Summit for Stampin' Up! demonstrators who are at a certain level in the company.  It was supposed to be held in New Orleans, but unfortunately that was not to be, instead they moved the summit to a virtual platform.  This is Stampin' Up! leadership team . . . I was not sure what to expect, but it was an amazing few days to listen to keynote speakers and other demonstrators.  The day involved various events and opportunities to breakout into small group discussions.  At one of these sessions, I entered the virtual room and there is the CEO of Stampin' Up! - Sara Douglas, that was a complete surprise! My big take away from the event was that Stampin' Up! sees demonstrators as individuals and not as a number, and they want to offer the best possible environment for us to grow. They see the importance of developing relationships an

The new Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine

Like many crafters one of my favourite tools is my die cutting machine - it takes your paper crafting projects to the next level by embossing and using dies to cut out images.  If you do not own one yet, you really must consider the investment, I have had mine for many years even when I was just a hobby crafter and I don't know what I would do without it.  And now is the perfect time to consider purchasing a machine as Stampin' Up! has just released their own!  Check out the video demonstrating the amazing features. The Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine is available  from September 1st or if you want to get one now, you can purchase it as part of your Starter Kit and join my team - The Glitter Gals!  I got my machine a few weeks ago and used it in a class recently and fell in love with it.  I could not get over how smooth the machine works, for those of you who are familiar with other die cutting machines, you will know what I am talking about. Here is a card I made

Helpers in the The Squires Shecave!

We have my parents visiting from England at the moment and I have been putting them to work as they have to quarantine for 14 days!  Today Dad sorted out all my ribbon - I am a bit of a ribbon hoarder - so lots of retired ribbon that will now be packed up to sell:) Mum has been busy putting all the Paper Pumpkin kits together!  She is thoroughly enjoying herself and will be taking all her creations back home to England with her. If only England had Paper Pumpkin. I have been busy in The Squires Shecave planning for upcoming classes and creating some projects using some of my new goodies from the new Mini Catalogue (aka the holiday catalogue).  I tried out the Peace & Joy bundle, here is a card I made along with bells from the Sounds of the Season metal dies. Like this card?  Check out my upcoming holiday classes, as this will definitely be one of the projects we will make! Product List Peace & Joy Bundle [ 155167 ] $61.00 Peace &a
