If you are new to Stampin' Up! you may not know that this is an exciting time - the launch of the new Annual Catalogue - and with the launch comes new ink colours!!  Every year we get five new inks colours, these colours are only available for two years.  Here is my new catalogue - check out all the tabs where I have marked the products I have on my wish list:)  If you would like a catalogue, let me know and I will get one to you. The new in-colours are Polished Pink, Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen and Fresh Freesia. Day two of Sale-a-bration

Today I am going to showcase the Flower & Field DSP, item #158157 - isn't this paper beautiful?! Each sheet has a coordinating pattern on the back, which makes it super easy to make amazing projects - just add a sentiment and some ribbon or embellishments and you are done. Here are a few cards I made by doing exactly that, I used some coordinating cardstock and ink.  In this card I layered with a whisper white mat and the inner one is the same colour as the cardbase - crushed curry.  I added another pop of colour by using granny apple green for the sentiment. For these cards I choose the same flower pattern, but used different backgrounds.  The first one is the flip side of the flower paper.  I used a bermuda bay cardbase and then stamped the sentiment in the same colour on flirty flamingo.  For the other card I used the bermuda bay ombre DSP - check out yesterday's post for projects using that paper - and I even used the ombre paper to stamp the sentiment. I love the colo

I have to say that I love both sides of this paper and I can see myself using this a lot in my upcoming classes.  In fact, my first class of the year we will be using the Blackberry Bliss D

Mystery Stamping!

I have been creating Christmas projects since August so I thought I would change it up and make a simple birthday card for a mystery stamping event I hosted with my team this weekend.  If you have never participated in a mystery stamping event you really should try it out.  Everyone is provided the same instructions but each card turns out different. Here are the instructions I shared with everyone before the meeting: Cardbase: 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2"4 Coordinating DSP: 1 3/4" x 4" and 1 1/4" x 4" Small stamp image or punch Coordinating cardstock for sentiment Small sentiment Punch or die to cut out the sentiment Embellishments Tag topper (optional) I then provided the following instructions to everyone while participating in a virtual team meeting: Cut off a 1 1/2" strip on one end of the cardbase Then another 2" strip - on the same end Burnish the scored line and add your DSP to the first 1 1/2" strip you cut and the other pie

Coffee and treat carrier

A couple of weeks ago I hosted my annual holiday stamp camp and I always like to spoil the crafters with special gifts throughout the day.  This time each person received one of these coffee and treat carriers. I put a few different types of teas in the coffee cup and in the cellophane bag I added some truffles from a local Canadian company - love to be able to support local company's during this time.  The coffee carrier would make the perfect gift to give to friends and family this holiday season.  Instead of the coffee cup, put handmade cookies on both sides, or add a small bottle of sparkling wine along with some chocolates - so many different options. I used products from the Heartwarming Hugs suite to make the gift. I wrapped the coffee carrier with strips of Heartwarming Hugs DSP and added some Mossy Meadow diagonal ribbon. To decorate the coffee cup I used the coordinating metal dies to cut out the coffee cup wrap, using the heartwarming DSP and black cardstock.  The bundl
